Abstract

The study was conducted to assess the influence of a transformational leadership style on the intention of office workers in Ho Chi Minh City to leave the office workplace. With 286 valid samples collected through the online network of Facebook, gmail, etc., the study uses descriptive statistical analysis methods, reliability assessment by Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient, EFA, CFA and SEM test. Research results show that: a transformational leadership style positively affects stress at work; job stress has a positive effect on intention to quit; transformational leadership styles have a direct and positive effect on psychological safety; Psychological safety in the work environment has a direct and negative effect on an employee’s intention to leave the workplace.
