Abstract

The study aims to develop an analytical model identifying the key factors that influence the selection of logistics services by small and medium-sized export enterprises in Hanoi. The research was conducted through a structured survey with questionnaires directly administered to 150 business clients. The findings reveal seven critical factors shaping these enterprises’ decisions when choosing logistics service providers: (1) Reliability; (2) Assurance; (3) Facilities; (4) Empathy; (5) Responsiveness; (6) Cost; and (7) Customer relationships. Reliability and cost emerged as particularly influential, highlighting the enterprises’ emphasis on tight budget control, and stability in the transportation process amid an increasingly competitive context.
