Abstract

Leadership is emerging as leadership styles that are strong, effective and have a positive influence on most important outputs of an organization such as knowledge capital, organizational performance, capabilities valuable knowledge management and new creative change capabilities. The goal of this study is to explore the influence of transformational leadership on the knowledge sharing behavior of employees in small and medium-sized enterprises in Hanoi. The study uses a linear structural model based on primary data collected from 295 people, from 98 small and medium-sized enterprises in Hanoi to test the hypotheses in the proposed research model. Research results show that transformational leadership has a positive influence on the tacit and explicit knowledge sharing behavior of employees in small and medium-sized enterprises. The study emphasizes the need to practice transformational leadership to create a positive environment that promotes knowledge sharing behavior, thereby helping to increase intellectual capital and competitive advantage for businesses. small and medium sized in Hanoi.
